I am a wife, a mother of 3 boys, a middle child and an animal lover. Besides photography my passions are many: skiing, hiking and being in the mountains, reading on the beach and the 4th of July, playing cribbage and going to sporting events.

I received my first 'real' camera, an Olympus OM10, when I was 15 and heading off to Sweden for my junior year of High School abroad.

I won my first award for photography when I was 18 with a photograph of a blue eyed, curly haired, aspiring guitarist named Jim.

After a 16 year career in the financial Industry, I have been an active member of the Professional Photographers of America, full time professional photographer and owner of DJ Meads Photography since 2006.
